Quaternary Glacial Geomorphology and Sedimentology of the Peneda Mountains, NW Portugal

This study investigates the genesis of late Quaternary glacial landforms in the Serra da Peneda Mountains of NW Portugal. Using till macrofabric and grain size analysis, this research tries to identify till types present in moraines and other glacial landforms in order to determine their depositional environment and landform classification. Basically, this research focuses on reconstructing paleo-glacial processes.
